Unlike many ELICOS colleges we have some flexibility with study times and days through our Guided Individual Learning system
Course Structure
There are 5 levels, and each level is 12 weeks in length. Students can begin their course on any Monday except holidays. Holidays: After every 8 weeks of study there is a short holiday. The ELICOS college closes for 4 weeks in the Christmas/New Year season

This course is designed for beginner to upper-intermediate students. It offers a great foundation if you’re looking to progress to outcome-focused courses such as IELTS, Cambridge and Academic English.
IELTS tests all four language skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Speaking test is a face-to-face interview with a certified Examiner. It is interactive and as close to a real-life situation as a test can get.
IELTS is required by a growing number of Australian universities to show student’s English levels prior entering to degree programs. The course aims to familiarise students with the test types and to help them acquire test-taking skills when undertaking the IELTS exam.
Western Academy is pleased to offer General English courses for all. The English program at Western Academy will help hone your skills and increase your confidence using the English language in both professional and individual settings.
TOEFL is one of the most recognised English language testing systems in the world. We can help our student to understand all the aspect of this test in (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and help in all of these key areas of studies.
