A) Training in research skills within the field of Clinical and Counselling psychology
Students will achieve foundational and applied knowledge and skills in research methodology and statistical analysis
B)Training in clinical skills
The course will help students to acquire a basic understanding of psychology. Students will be exposed to the diversity of topic covered within the discipline of psychology, and develop the basic skills in conducting counselling and psychological assessments.
C) Development of ethical and professional conduct
Students will be knowledgeable about the ethical guidelines and standards related to the practice of Counselling and Psychological Assessment. They will also know how to apply these standards in their professional practice.
Students will be able to analyze and critically evaluate ethical dilemmas and identify appropriate means for resolution.

Academic Requirements
Minimum 21 years old
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
or a Diploma holder from Polytechnic / Advanced Diploma from Private Education Institutions or equivalent with minimum of 3 years working experience can be considered on a case-by-case basis
or 30 years old and above with 8 years working experience but without academic qualification can be considered on a case-by-case basis.

or PTEA 45
or WPLN level 5 in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing
Graduate Diploma in Clinical and Counseling Psychology Course Fees
If you apply for our Graduate Diploma in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, you can receive grants of up to S$1,700 for Graduate Diplomas.
SkillsFuture Credits: Singaporeans aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture credits of up to S$500.
Additional Government Subsidies: Singaporeans and PRs may receive additional Government subsidies of up to 70%.
Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA): Singaporeans aged 21 to 30 may use their PSEA to offset up to S$3,420, if available, of their course fees.

Weekday: 7.00pm – 9.30pm / Weekend: 9.00am – 6.00pm, or 9.00am – 1.00pm
Graduation Requirements
Achieve a minimum 24 credits and earn at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.3.
Students will be conferred Graduate Diploma in Clinical & Counseling Psychology upon completion, awarded by Arium School of Arts & Sciences.

Arium School of Arts & Sciences (Asas) was established and registered with the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
2006
Asas received the CaseTrust for Education certification, providing assurance that the institution
has been found to meet clearly stated criteria and will continue to meet them.
2010
With the implementation of the Private Education Act in December 2009, and the setting up of the Council for Private Education to regulate the private education sector in Singapore, Asas is required to comply with the regulations under the new Act.

The Council for Private Education was renamed the Committee for Private Education and has become a part of SkillsFuture Singapore, a statutory board under the Ministry of Education.
