Graphic design is becoming increasingly important in business where employees are tasked with “design work” and often work with a graphic designer or a graphic design company.
As the person tasked with designing you must have enough skill to be able to work in a graphic design application and be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing.
You must be able to:
Determine the message the design should portray
Maintain consistency ie. Newletter
Work with a graphic designer or graphic design company
Select colours, images, text style, and layout
Present the design to management and staff
Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
Graphic Design is the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books. Graphic design work is visually communicating and capitvating your audience.

Personal Touch Computing was established in 1992. Its main focus was on-site delivery of desktop training to corporate clients. In 1996 Added Advantage was established, to provide small group training to the SME client base of Global Z-Data and Moores Rowland.
In 2000 Personal Touch Computing and Added Advantage merged in order to deliver end-user training and a more seamless service to their customers.
Added Advantage Academy strives to provide a high standard of training where the focus is on personalised training and a high retention of learning. We strive to achieve this by keeping our training classes to a maximum of 10 learners.
Formative Assessments are completed at the end of each section and a final assessment is completed by participants at the end of the training.
We are fully accredited with MICT SETA. We currently offer short courses which are aligned with the unit standards and are part of the National Certificate for Information Technology: End User Computing.
We are an International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) training and testing center.
Learners can receive local or internationally recognized certification at Added Advantage Academy.
Added Advantage Academy is a training organisation which promotes the achievement of credits on completion of the aligned courses attended at Added Advantage.
We use training material aligned to the unit standards. The training material is either created by Added Advantage or purchased from an accredited courseware provider.
Trainers are registered facilitors and assessors.
