We’ll take you through the technical literacy and concepts of graphic design, and begin you in the process of conceptualising your own original and visually stimulating designs.
You’ll hone your skills on software programmes such as Adobe Photoshop where you’ll explore and create images; Adobe Illustrator where you’ll transfer your concepts into creative design elements used for print and online; and Adobe InDesign where you’ll streamline the design process of single- and multi-page documents right through to creating print ready files.
Throughout the course you’ll also be actively involved with class projects that will help you build a personal portfolio, ready to show prospective employers or clients.

Adobe Illustrator is a multi-purpose application for creating artwork suitable for both screen and print graphics. It is a primarily vector based program which will allow you to create detailed and scalable art for almost any use.
On this one-day course, you'll learn how to work with shapes, color, effects and typography. We'll teach you how to prepare and optimize your graphics to make them ready for web, print and video.
Our InDesign course options accommodate various skill levels and are structured accordingly, so you can choose from our level 1 for beginner to intermediate users, or learn advanced productivity and interactivity skills with our advanced level 2 module.
Adobe Illustrator course is offered by Added Advantage Academy for all skill level. End-user training short courses are a great way to quickly acquire new skills or update your existing skills.
