DurationTN Language Center offers four main courses: Introductory, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Courses run in cycles of twelve weeks with one hour and thirty-minute classes per week. Therefore, students meet for a total of 18 hours each cycle. Students are encouraged to continue with their course after each cycle.
The Tennessee Language Center (TLC), an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service, focuses on language learning, teaching, and services for the public sector, the business community, and private citizens with a mission of facilitating the intercultural communication goals of Tennesseans and others around the globe.

Intensive English Program (IEP) includes daily practice of speaking, listening, and reading and writing, with a strong emphasis on conversation and pronunciation.
During this course, learners will participate in class discussions, do group work with classmates, practice pronunciation, learn reading and writing skills, and explore themes and topics in order to develop intercultural competence.
