DurationIf you already have a guitar, please bring it in for your first lesson so that we can asses it’s state of repair and playability. Complete beginners will learn the parts of the instrument, how to hold it properly and how to read basic notation and tablature.
Tablature is a modern form of music writing design specifically for fretted instruments, like a diagram of where to place your fingers. It is the most common form of music notation for guitar today, however our instructors teach both traditional and modern forms of note reading and your instructor will advise you on what books may be required.

Guitar Course is Offered by Leslieville School of Dance & Music. All students aged 5 and up.
Lessons are available remotely online, or in the comfort of your own home, at our school locations, and at our affiliated, certified teacher studios across Canada.
