Established in 2003, Infocus Food Safety provides food safety consultancy and training services to food businesses, aged care facilities, hospitals, catering companies, hospitality businesses, childcare centres and community-based organisations across Australia.
Infocus Food Safety provides specialist food safety consultancy and training services to the aged care and hospital sector across Australia. Infocus also works closely with catering companies and five star hotels who seek customised and comprehensive food safety programs and tailored training options.
Infocus Food Safety (Infocus Management Group Pty Ltd) was established in August 2003 with the merger of two businesses; James C Smith & Associates, which had been operating as a public health consultancy since 1989 and Trainingways, a food safety training company and Registered Training Organisation.
The services offered by both companies were seen to be complementary and provided the basis to develop an enterprise with the capacity to deliver a wider range of services to our clients. Find out more about our current team:
It is imperative that everyone in your organisation, from the owner, manager and all employees, learns basic food safety practices for preparing and serving food and creating a culture of food safety within your workplace.
This Nationally Recognised course teaches the knowledge and skills required to use hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food in the workplace. It will do this by teaching hygiene and food safety procedures and standards, how to identify workplace hygiene hazards.
All the essentials of food safety in one course This nationally accredited unit provides the skills and knowledge required to comply with personal hygiene, food safety, cleanliness of food handling areas and disposal of food in health and community settings.
Food Safety Supervisors (FSS) oversee day-to-day food handling operations and ensure risks are managed. The NSW FSS program helps businesses meet their obligations under the Food Standards Code, NSW Food Act and Food Regulation.
A food coach can be the real difference though; helping their client to develop strategies and motivation to bring about real change in their eating habits, and consequently real change in their overall wellbeing.
