Hair Design

We offer a 5-day hair styling course, or workshops for veteran hair stylists and makeup artists who are skilled in doing hair but wish to up skill and refresh their techniques.

Subjects Covered:

• Hair theory
• Anatomy, structure and types of hair
• Product knowledge
• Blow drying, setting and styling
• Effective use of a straightening iron
• Effective use of a curling tong and tapered wand
• Pin curling; iron & tong curls
• Styling curly & straight hair
• Bridal & occasion hair: up styles, down styles, etc.
• Styling for high fashion
• Avant Garde hair etc.

Students must have a professional quality hair dryer and straightening iron in order to complete the course
