Hair Removal (Waxing)

This course is a combination of theory and practical. You will gain an understanding of the structure of the hair unit, different growth cycles and patterns and associated disorders and disease which alter them. You will practice safe and efficient hair removal techniques using soft wax procedures.

You will demonstrate proper techniques for controlling, applying and removing wax. You will acknowledge cautions and contra-indications for hair removal services and appreciate the importance of client consultation.

You will practice Ministry recommendations for effective sanitation and sterilization procedures. You will perform hair removal on various body parts which will include pre-treatment and post-treatment client care suggestions.
