A career proven program which makes your dream come true. This program is aim for those students who have strong passion about hairdressing.

Either you wish to be a professional hairstylist or salon owner; this program is aimed to teach the students the fundamental theories and skills into advanced and intensive hands on practical with SCCA international renowned stylist.

The main purpose of this program is to equip the students with the knowledge and skills needed to be a professional hairstylist arrange for salon practice. The student will be able to serve all the customers’ needs about hair care and styling. Also, students will be exposed to artistic work in fashion shows, movie, TV show and magazines.

This professional certificate of Hairdressing course focuses on the important elements of hairdressing and salon management. Fundamentally, students will develop skills in hair cutting, perming, coloring, product knowledge, and hair science.

It allows students to identify, develop and implement brand strategies, study merchandising practices, plan and execute advertising and promotional ideas. The student will work in the College’s onsite hair salon, Ambitions, on paying clients, practicing and perfecting your skills whilst working towards assessment.

All this will build into a portfolio of evidence to take forward and showcase for the next educational level or for an employer to view. You will have the opportunity to visit events, local salons, fashion shows, and photography or videography commercials whether it’s print or TV ads with the artistic team of SCCA.
