Hairdressing Level 2 Diploma Women's And Men's Hairdressing

LCBT's Level 2 Diploma in Women's and Men's Hairdressing course is fast moving, imaginative and fun. It is suitable for practically minded individuals who have a creative flair, a lively personality and a genuine interest in people. This full time course is challenging and varied and will enable students to enter the world of fashion cutting, styling and colouring on both Ladies and Gents, developing a range of complex hairdressing skills.

This course is the best way to start your career in the Hairdressing industry.

You will be provided with a uniform to wear whilst you are at college and a hairdressing kit that you will own to support you completing your practical treatments and to be used personally.

This course is designed for those learners who wish to gain a variety of employable skills across the hairdressing industry. As part of your course we will give you regular opportunities to attend industry talks and trade shows. Plus you will perfect your skills on members of the public in our working Salon. It is the course expectation that you will also model and provide models for the practical training and technical assessments studied on the Diploma. You may be required to bring models for your assessments.

Depending on your entry and prior qualifications you may also be required to undertake English and Maths Functional Skills or GCSE’s dependant on your criteria.

Additionally you will learn about client care, communication health & safety in the workplace and the promotion of products and services to clients.

As part of your course you may need to complete Functional Skills or GCSEs in English and/or Maths.
