DurationThis comprehensive program covers technical and practical knowledge of advanced hair techniques, basic beauty care and nail technology. We are proud to be one of the most popular cosmetology schools in Austin, TX. You will learn how to master and manipulate beauty treatment esthetics and applications, and how to interact and consult with your clientele to achieve satisfaction.
This course includes 8 weeks of intensive classroom work as part of the 8 months of hands-on client work in our full-service Student Salon (open to the public). All students receive a supply kit, provided by Pivot Point, which includes high-grade materials and tools.

Baldwin Beauty Schools has two campuses, conveniently located in North and South Austin. Both offer students an attractive, fully-equipped education facility and a highly-experienced staff committed to giving you the very best beauty in education.
Each campus has a full-service Student Salon, which is open to the public, where you can expect to experience a bustling, vibrant atmosphere that is full of creative energy.
Our regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Classes are typically held in the morning, followed by salon floor work in the afternoon.
This course concentrates on the basic fundamentals of hairstyling, from simple blow-drying techniques to creating elaborate hairstyles. Students will learn to create modern styles – as well as edgy and creative hair designs – using hot tools and roller sets.
This program is designed to provide students with theory and practical skills necessary to become a licensed Barber and practice in the field. This program is a comprehensive study through lecture and practical experience, which provides the basic training in Florida laws and rules.
Westland Beauty Academy is focused on your career in hairstyling. From the moment you start hairstyling and haircut training with us, you will prepare for an exciting and dynamic career.
The primary objective of the Barbering Program is to prepare students for the state licensing examination to become a licensed Barber. A licensed barber’s opportunities include working in beauty salons, resort hotels and the opportunity to own his or her own salon.
1100 Hours of Technical Instruction and Practical Training in Hair Dressing Hairstyling (65 hours of Technical Instruction and 240 Practical Operations): Permanent Waving and Chemical Straightening (40 hours of Technical Instruction and 105 Practical Operations) and so much more.
