The Studio Academy of Beauty is a beauty school with three campuses in the Phoenix area, focused on providing students with a complete and well-rounded education. Our focus is on building confidence in young, aspiring professionals in the beauty industry.
We facilitate this by not only providing training and hands-on practice in technical skills, but also by emphasizing business training to help new stylists navigate client relationships, marketing, and other essential practices for success.
Our Curriculum
We offer accredited programs in Cosmetology, Hairstyling, Esthetics, and Instructor Training following Pivot Point’s extensive curriculum. Pivot Point is internationally recognized for its unique approach in teaching stylists a design perspective in their craft.
No matter which program you choose, your education will be rounded out with business and career training, so you’re able to hit the ground running once you graduate.
We teach communication skills, conflict resolution, retailing, salon management, and the psychology of customer service, just to name a few.
Students are also provided with plenty of hands-on practice for their newfound skills both in the classroom and in our student salon. To provide the best possible experience with client services, we utilize high-end products from Redken, CHI, and Design Essentials.
Our Barbering meets the minimum state requirements our mission is to offer training that prepares the student to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Board of Barbering & Cosmetology Licensing Exam.
Chic Studios School of Makeup offers this hairstyling course that covers a multitude of fundamental of hair, basic and intermediate hairstyling techniques.
Cosmetology Chemistry (chemical composition and the purpose of cosmetic, nail, hair, and skin care preparations; elementary chemical makeup, chemical skin peels, physical and chemical changes of matter)
Our 1,250-hour Cosmetology Program is designed to give you the ultimate beauty education experience. As a cosmetologist, your scope of license includes hair, skin care, and nails. By becoming a cosmetology student, you’re not just learning how to do hair, nails, and skin care.
In this course, students are trained and can expect to learn how to cut, color, and style both men's and women's hair. Â This course is slightly different than the full cosmetology course. Â Hair Design students learn the art of hairstyling.
