Course Details

Make your very own beginner friendly wardrobe and get ready for your holidays with this essential handmade wardrobe where you will learn to sew a Sunhat/Bucket hat, a Tote bag and the beautiful Lola dress where you will have the option to change sleeve and hem lengths to suit you.

This workshop will run weekly over 4 weeks and each class is 3 hours long with a 15 minute tea break. Some sewing experience would be ideal but not essential as we will be starting with a beginner friendly tote bag


What you will make:

  • Tote bag/ Shopper bag (0.5Meters of fabric)
  • Buckethat/sunhat (0.5 Meters of fabric)
  • Lola Linen Dress ( if you want you can change fabric to a cotton)
  • ( 2Meters for short version, up to 3Meters if you want something longer)


What you will learn:

  • French seams
  • Sewing darts
  • Gathering sleeves
  • Inserting elastic
  • Sewing neckline facings
  • Hemming a dress
  • Sewing pockets
  • Overlocking
