Course Description:
This class is for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances – including hazardous waste.
Topics covered include how to prevent spills and proper storage, handling, and inspection of containers. Employees who are engaged in one of the following operations as specified by OSHA CFR 1910.120(a)(1)i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v) should also attend.

This course provides trainers with instruction in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) as it relates to chemical and physical exposures. This course satisfies the requirements for training under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and CFR 1926.
Hazmat Training is offered by Fore Safety. At FORE Safety, we offer hands-on safety training. Rest assured, we will not overload you with information. In fact, during our training sessions you will get practical advice and training on how to stay safe at work.
HAZCOM Driving training is offered by State Safety. Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to safety. Our Indianapolis-based training sessions empower your team, ensuring they’re equipped not just with tools, but with the knowledge to use them effectively.
Our 24 Hour Hazardous Material Technician-Level for Emergency Response course is specialized for emergency response personnel.
Hazardous Waste Handling training is offered by Chess Safety. Chess provides in-person safety training, at your facility, and focusing on the real-world exposures and hazards your employees face. We will help you determine what training different employees need.
