Course Description:
This class is for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances – including hazardous waste.
Topics covered include how to prevent spills and proper storage, handling, and inspection of containers. Employees who are engaged in one of the following operations as specified by OSHA CFR 1910.120(a)(1)i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v) should also attend.

HazMat safety training courses is offered by Lofton Safety Services. Lofton Safety Services offers a variety of safety training classes. We provide both onsite and offsite training.
Packaging, shipping, or just signing manifests? Employees who do so are mandated by DOT to complete training every 3 years.
Our experienced instructors tailor approaches to your organization’s needs and offer a high-caliber educational experience through interactive tools and innovative exercises. Our onsite courses move quickly and give attendees relevant, practical knowledge applicable to their area of expertise.
Fire Safe provides in-person HAZMAT training solutions that are both flexible and scalable to meet the specific needs of our partners. Our instructors work with individuals or groups, including large, well-organized multi-week training sessions.
The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) applies to five distinct groups of employers and their employees. This includes any employees who are exposed, or potentially exposed, to hazardous substances including hazardous waste
