Course Overview
The Health and Safety Champion micro-credential is intended to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to understand their fundamental health and safety responsibilities and obligations, using targeted examples relevant to their industry.
Learners will examine the personal consequences of unsafe actions to better improve health and safety at work. This micro-credential will benefit all workers, contractors, supervisors, health and safety representatives and managers.
Successful completion of the micro-credential will allow learners to become champions of health and safety best practice at their workplace.

The course content is covered over two modules and key content includes the following:

Training of workers, management and directors forms an integral part of acceptance of health and safety in the workplace and leads to the culture shift that is often required to ensure full acceptance and implementation.
Forklift Endorsement course training is offered by Tranz Skills for all skill level. Our training courses meet the New Zealand Qualifications Authority framework. Credits are added to your Record of Learning once you have completed the training.
This course teaches how to work safely to erect non-notifiable and prefabricated frame scaffolding up to five metres in height and does not require a Certificate of Competence or notification to WorkSafe NZ. It is ideal for residential construction scaffold requirements.
This course, which is unique to the petro-chemical industry, will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for, accept and carry out work according to the relevant permit, supported by Common Permit to Work processes and procedures.
