The content will be specifically structured to bring your knowledge up to date with regard to any important changes within the legislation i.e Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 etc.

This facilitated 1 day (6 hour in total) course involves interactive sessions where real life industry incidents and examples are used. This programme is run by RMG under contractual arrangement with Te P?kenga – Work Based Learning.

This course prepares workplace Health and Safety representatives to be able to explain and demonstrate the overall role and functions of a Health and Safety Representative in a New Zealand workplace. Includes the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, employer and employee responsibilities.
Trainees must have held a Class 4 licence for a minimum of 3 months (if over 25 years of age) or 6 months (if under 25 years of age), as well as a 5L licence which they can obtain at any driver licensing agent. A separate charge payable to the licensing agency is applicable for this.
