Introducing Coastal Dance Company - St. John's newest dance studio owned and operated by Melissa Maynard Power and Katie Yetman. Conveniently located on Stavanger Drive! With over 15 years teaching experience in styles such as: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe and Exam Classes.
We want to give our students the best experience possible. For this reason, we will strive to provide as much exposure to different choreographers through a variety of workshops and performances throughout the dance year. Steps will be put together in combinations that the dancers add on to each week. Style will develop as the dancers feel free to express themselves. The steps are set to popular music (clean versions) that they listen to everyday!

For students ages 4-18, Hip-Hop dance classes teach an exciting combination of jazz techniques and the street or club moves often seen in music videos!
Hip Hop is fun and energetic! This class focuses on age appropriate hip hop dancing and music that your kids will love. They will not only learn high energy hip hop choreography but basic dance technique as well.
Our programs are designed to inspire young dancers to follow their dreams and express their emotions through movement. We pride our studio to be an inclusive environment for children of all abilities.
