Modern and dynamic, hip hop is certainly addictive. This powerful, high-energy dance style relies on a punchy beat and a little bit of attitude! Children will master individual moves before learning to build up to longer routines.

Come and learn cool moves in this fun and high energy class. Students in this class do not require a costume to participate in our Annual Year-End Performances in June.

  • Morgan was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She has danced competitively from the age of 3 training at Dance Images by BJ. Her styles include Jazz and Tap under the ADAPT Syllabus as well as Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to attend AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Theatre graduating with honors. Morgan mentored under So You Think You Can Dance alumni Donyelle Jones and has extensive training from Los Angeles at studios including The Edge, Millennium Dance Complex and Movement Lifestyle. She has danced in three Los Angeles based dance companies, performed in The Hollywood Musical Xanadu and performed in various videos. Her dance career has taken her all over America performing at the Magicians Agency in San Antonio Texas with Britain’s well known magician Scott Pepper. Her last venture has been performing on Holland America Line Cruises. In her free time she enjoys walking her two pugs and driving around a cute orange Mini Cooper. Morgan is excited to be back here in Canada and mentoring a new generation of entertainers!
