Here at Brooklyn CenterStage our philosophy is to empower each dancer with strong technique while we celebrate his or her own individuality. BCS trains dancers of all ages and abilities, and embraces dance in all its forms from ballet to tap, jazz, modern, musical theater and hip hop.
Whether you plan to pursue dance as a profession or you simply love to dance for recreation, our dynamic faculty creates a nurturing environment filled with passion, respect and inspiration. We love to see creativity flourish and are devoted to an atmosphere infused with positive energy and fun!
Itinerary: Class will begin with a total body warmup and light stretch. Classes include low to moderate level intensity cardio dance moves focused on the total body.
The choreography will incorporate various styles of hip-hop from breaking to popping and everything in between—developing musicality, hard hitting movements, body isolations, energy, textures, and the ability to freestyle.
Everybody’s got to start somewhere. Lose yourself in the fun of our hip-hop dance routines. The right level of challenges for beginner hip hop dance classes. Work it like never before and leave feeling like Beyoncé's backup dancers.
Our dance classes are 60 minutes lead by our amazing instructors who bring something fun and unique to every class! You'll start with a warm up or across the floor, and learn some choreography. We have a varitey of styles
