Here at Brooklyn CenterStage our philosophy is to empower each dancer with strong technique while we celebrate his or her own individuality. BCS trains dancers of all ages and abilities, and embraces dance in all its forms from ballet to tap, jazz, modern, musical theater and hip hop.
Whether you plan to pursue dance as a profession or you simply love to dance for recreation, our dynamic faculty creates a nurturing environment filled with passion, respect and inspiration. We love to see creativity flourish and are devoted to an atmosphere infused with positive energy and fun!
This is a Jazz class--1 hour technique and 1/2 hour choreography, which will be dedicated to one group number.
This class focuses on technical instruction, musicality of movement and challenging choreography
This class explores a wide range of movements and syncopated rhythms with a strong foundation in classical technique.
The classes will include barre exercises for warm-up and to create strength in the legs and feet, stretching, turns, leaps and combinations.
In this class we will make music with our feet! Students will explore rhythm and syncopation through fun movement exercises, incorporating footwork, body percussion, and improvisation!
