This class participates in two performances per dance year. All movement and music is age-appropriate.
Located in the Bellevue area (just west of downtown Nashville), Dance in Bloom teaches proper dance technique in a fun and upbeat environment. We stress the importance of learning fundamentals, proper form, and having fun.
We feel there is no point in dancing if it isn't fun! Our 4,000 sq ft facility hosts classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics/tumbling for ages 2 and up (of all backgrounds, and abilities).
A variety of class times are offered to accommodate most family schedules. The studio is also available for rental for private instruction and/or rehearsals. Our professional instructors have a wide range of dance backgrounds and styles.
They genuinely care for the students and have the desire to pass on their love and passion for dance. In-between classes, it is not uncommon to find teachers sitting on the floor assisting students with buckling tap shoes, or chatting with them about their week.
A popular, commercial-style dance class that infuses the latest styles of street jazz and popular music. Participants focus on choreography and are encouraged to take the accompanying hip-hop fundamentals class to take a deeper dive into the art form
Hip Hop Dance Classes are offered by Dance Austin Studio.
Our Hip-hop class will introduce students to hip hop as a culturally significant form of dance. Students will learn history, social aspects, and fundamental techniques from house, popping and locking to name a few.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to join our fun, high-energy Hip-Hop class. Â Age appropriate movement and music are used in this fast-paced class. Â With its roots in street jazz, pop and lock, commercial, and pedestrian styles, Hip Hop is a constantly evolving form of dance.
A specific style of dance that focuses on body isolation technique as well as freestyle improvisation. This high energy form of dance has become increasingly popular over the last 30 years with the influence of Hip Hop music
