Located within the City of Porirua, Extreme Dance is one of the most comprehensive dance facilities within the Wellington region. We have four studios and seven dance styles on offer for students from 18 months to advanced students and professionals.

These classes are a combination of modern jazz and hip hop, drawing inspiration from what’s hot right now, what we just won’t leave in the past and what the students are into.
The NZAMD Hip Hop Syllabus is an energetic style of dance with versatile hip hop moves extending the students and giving an exciting progression up through the levels.
Hip hop is a cultural movement that formed during the late 1960s among African American youths residing in the South Bronx in New York City.
The students work on technique, terminology, and routines for our concerts held in July and December.
Students learn the NZAMD Hip Hop syllabus which has funky exercises, creative combinations and dances.
