Here at KE Dance Center, we have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer.
Our mission is to grow as dancers and artists, expressing what is in our minds and bodies through our movement. We provide a nurturing and inspiring environment for students ages 2-Adult to learn dance technique, performance skills, and express their creativity through improvisational movement.
KE Dance Center's original location was opened in Wagoner, OK in 2007 by Brianne Doublin. Brianne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2007 from Texas Woman’s University.
Brianne’s collegiate dance studies include the following: Modern, Ballet, Tap, West African with Nycole Ray of Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Horton Technique with Melissa Young of Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Summer Intensive Workshop with Larry Keigwin of Keigwin and Company, Children’s Dance, and master classes by Mary Williford-Shade (formerly of Mark Taylor), Sara Gamblin (formerly of Bebe Miller), Aysha Upchurch, Lionel Popkin, Bill Young, and Jennifer Keller (formerly of Mark Taylor).
Hip Hop I Classes are offered by MoBu Dance Studio for all ages. We inspire children and teens to experience joy through dance and motivate adults to stay active and exercise.
Hip Hop Dance Classes are offered by Diverse Elements Dance Studio for all ages and skill level. Be a part of a dance family that is passionate, determined, and supportive. Whether you’re here for one class or committed to several different classes, we’ve got exactly what you need.
Our Hip-hop class will introduce students to hip hop as a culturally significant form of dance. Students will learn history, social aspects, and fundamental techniques from house, popping and locking to name a few.
High energy and fast-paced, hip-hop offers an eclectic selection of music and movement that challenges the dancer’s musicality, retention, and creativity while implementing grooves and movements that encourage growth for beginners. Open to all the community and all ages.
A two hour class that consists of ballet, tap, jazz, and introduces hip hop. Dancers perform four routines, one in each genre, in our annual recital. At this level, dancers also perform in our finale number at recital.
