We strive to provide our collective with intentional, inclusive, and empowering artistic experiences through our performances, community collaborations, and RACE the Space classes.
Hip Hop is a very energetic form of dancing. It is unique in that it allows its dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities. Hip hop dancing is an ideal way to express one''s creativeness. It features self impressions and the dances come from the soul.
This high-energy Session combines isolations, strength, coordination, and style. This Session will challenge every dancer to enjoy the love of movement.
Hip Hop Dance Class is offered by Millennium Dance Studio. We've had the pleasure of being your source for dance instruction since 2001.
Our Hip-hop class will introduce students to hip hop as a culturally significant form of dance. Students will learn history, social aspects, and fundamental techniques from house, popping and locking to name a few.
This class expands upon basic hip hop principles and expands to encompass a wide variety of hip hop styles. As a class, you will explore the differences from smooth R&B style all the way from jerking or even J-setting
