Hip Hop is a grounded, street style form of dance usually performed to hip hop music, or music which emphasizes clear rhythms, beats and/or lyrics.
Every class begins with a thirty minute warm-up led by Lead Hip Hop Teacher, Ramiro Vaughan, followed by a 90 minute focused session with master teachers. The choreography will incorporate various styles of hip-hop from breaking to popping and everything in between—developing musicality, hard hitting movements, body isolations, energy, textures, and the ability to freestyle.
This is a beginner level class recommended for students 5-6 years old. Dancers will learn across the floor hip hop steps to aid in coordination and knowledge of time and space as well as technical combinations to a variety of songs.
