This Beginner friendly class is set to today's Top Hits! It is the perfect start to learning this popular street dance! You'll learn the basics and in-demand freestyle moves to take your dancing to the next level.
We offer a more comprehensive program than any other dance studio in Los Angeles. Because we have more than one classroom, we often run two or more classes simultaneously.
This gives great depth to our program and we are able to offer beginning thru advanced levels in each of the popular styles of dance. Our program's versatility allows you to advance at your own pace; many of our students attend class two or three times per week.
3rd Street Dance has been teaching Los Angeles to dance for over 35 years. We offer a comprehensive dance curriculum for adults in all styles of dance.
Hip Hop is a form of dance that was once referred to as street dance and has now become mainstream. Students will learn rhythm and coordination through age-appropriate hip hop choreography
Students ages 7 and up are invited to join our fun, high-energy Hip-Hop class. Â Age appropriate movement and music are used in this fast-paced class. Â With its roots in street jazz, pop and lock, commercial, and pedestrian styles, Hip Hop is a constantly evolving form of dance.
Classes are fast paced, energetic and jam packed with fun! This class focuses on coordination, balance, body control, and rhythm. Journey with us as we explore the various styles of hip-hop, including the latest b-boy/b-girl skills, popping, locking, tutting, and many more.
A fusion of the latest steps from TV to the streets. Hip-Hop encompasses many street styles, the most common styles being; break-dancing, funk, popping, locking and improvisation (freestyle).
Commercial-Style Hip-Hop for ages 14+years with at least one year of experience in this style. Students learn proper technique and genre terminology, in a fun and upbeat environment.
