Previous dance experience is not required, as we keep it clean doing hip hop for teens. We can’t wait to get this group on stage.

Hip Hop Dance Class is offered by Alisa's Dance Academy. A funky energetic street dance style from NY and LA, with a jazz based technique.
Hip-Hop is a very fun, energetic and encourages individuality! Hip-hop is based on street dance and is frequently used by “back up dancers” in concerts and on T.V. Lots of body isolations and “earthy” type movements
Street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.
Dancers will enjoy learning Hip Hop techniques and stylization while dancing to their favorite songs in an age appropriate manner. Class will focus on proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized isolated body movements, and high-energy combinations
Hip Hop includes Afrodiasporic social dances and the dance form of Breaking. The choreography will include popular moves from past to present, such as the monastery and the woah.
