Its not hard but there is a technique. Mixing the dough,how much to handle it, cutting by hand and also learning to use the attachment of a mixer which is always fun. How do you dry the pasta and cook it just right?
Next we will make a homemade sauce of choice, either a red sauce, alfredo or just butter and parmesan. Lets make a Lava cake cupcake for desert, a favorite for sure
Irene has been teaching cooking classes with the Scottsdale Schools and City of Scottsdale recreation department for over 8 years. She retains an active food handlers card along with a Managers "Serve Safe" card for safety in the kitchen.
Irene is committed to helping children, teens and seniors make healthier eating choices, while also empowering them with how to create and serve healthy dishes, to enjoy with family and friends.
She accomplishes this through the Kids Who Cook program of fun and educational cooking classes.Her goal is to balance healthy eating with fun in the kitchen, making luscious deserts as well.

Pasta Making class is offered by Cook LA Cooking School. We offer an assortment of classes - from preparing world-wide cuisines, basic cooking techniques (gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian) - all in a fun, engaging atmosphere designed for all cooking types.

This class will be hands-on, so you will be making your own dough, pasta shapes and sauce. During the class you will be able to transform the simple tomato sauce (vegetarian) into bolognese sauce for a hearty option (non-vegetarian).
Come join us and create this delicious ravioli stuffed with a creamy ricotta cheese filling and finished in a nutty brown butter and truffle sauce. For dessert we'll make a deliciously creamy Panna Cotta with a sauce made from seasonal fruit.
