The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) (Fast Track) (H312) program is designed for students with a two-year hospitality diploma or degree in a related field who want to pursue a business degree with a hospitality focus.
Qualified applicants who have completed one of the following George Brown College programs may be eligible:
Food and Beverage Management (H132)
Hospitality – Hotel Operations Management (H133)
Event Planning (H141)
Tourism and Hospitality Management (H130)
Continued advances in the hospitality industry have led to larger and more complex hospitality enterprises and increased demand for well-educated professionals with analytical skills capable of leading them.
The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) (Fast Track) program teaches you technical skills related to the major components of a hospitality business.
It prepares you for career opportunities in diverse hospitality industry sectors, including accommodations, event management, food service, sports and recreation, and travel, with training in analysis and problem-solving, critical thinking, integrated operations, customer management and international applications.
Students develop strong management and leadership abilities working on individual and group projects. And you'll gain real-world work experience with a co-op term. This program provides flexible learning with courses offered in a hybrid format throughout the program. Semesters seven and eight are delivered entirely online.
Note: George Brown College has adopted a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative. As a result, we no longer have computer lab classrooms. For classes that require computers, students will need to bring their own laptops.

Your Field Education Options
Students spend one paid term working full-time in the industry, giving them a chance to apply the knowledge they have acquired in a real-life, hands-on situation.
George Brown works with employers and industry partners to identify potential work experience opportunities. Students are also strongly encouraged to pursue self-directed industry work experience opportunities they believe will provide the learning experiences they value and meet the program's learning outcomes. This valuable work experience can be added to your resumé.
In addition to more formal on-the-job work experience, George Brown College endeavours to provide learning opportunities with real-world challenges and customers.

Educational Pathways
Graduates of the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) program have pursued advanced degrees with our partner universities, IMI and Manchester University, as well as institutions such as the University of Guelph, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Waterloo, Royal Roads University and Queen's University.
Acceptance to graduate studies is subject to institutions' admission criteria and entry requirements. Graduates of the program can also continue their studies by pursuing a master's degree or post-graduate education.
The George Brown College Foundation, established in 1984, is a separately incorporated registered charity that serves as the primary fundraising vehicle for George Brown College.
The Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who support the College’s mandate of increasing access to education by raising money to support student success through scholarships, bursaries and awards.

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management program in Acsenda provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business practices in the hospitality industry. It also will help instill the leadership competencies that are expected worldwide.

The Marketing and Tourism Diploma Program combines a Professional Communication and Marketing diploma with a Global Tourism diploma to create a dual skill focus, enabling graduates to be very flexible in advancing their careers.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management program at the University of Guelph opens a world of opportunities: from international work to events, resorts, restaurants, your own business, and much more.
