What is a Multidisciplinary Studies degree?

The Multidisciplinary Studies program at UTSA allows students to create a customized degree or to choose an already-designed niche program. Hospitality and Events Management is one of the niche programs students can apply for.

This degree combines courses from different disciplines across multiple colleges into a coherent course of study to meet career and educational goals.

 

Admission Requirements

When you apply to UTSA, you select the major you'd like to study. The choice of major will not impact if you get admitted to the University (all students must meet UTSA's general admission requirements); however, some majors will require additional admission requirements to be able to declare the major your freshman year.
