Any Hospitality Management diploma is a combination of 50% of classroom study and 50% of co-op work experience. As a student who takes a Hospitality Management course in Canada, you will learn the following concepts and techniques related to the industry.

  • Hotel and restaurant operations
  • International marketing for hospitality management
  • Food preparation and service
  • Front and back-office operations.
  • Intercultural team dynamics in hospitality
  • Hospitality industry trends and sustainability practices

As well as the additional effort and level of commitment students must give to their program, students are expected to complete a minimum of 1-3 hours of assigned reading and/or homework each day, as designated by the hospitality instructor.
