HVAC and Basic Refrigeration

The HVAC Service Protocol course is a 100-hour, comprehensive, no nonsense, educational path for the serious learner. Total Tech’s unique 21st century learning approach prepares the student with the most practical service procedures in the most efficient timeframe possible.

In part one of the HVAC/R evening program, students will study the fundamental principles of electricity. This will include: the magic of transformers, electric motors, gas and electric heat, and how to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.

Our hybrid program will give you hands-on experience building and maintaining all types of heating and refrigeration systems in our state-of-the-art learning laboratory. You will gain skills in working with electrical control components, as well as in piping and fabrication.

The HVAC program in Continuing Education at ACC has been specially designed to deliver the skills you need in a short period of time so you can enter this high growth occupation quickly. This program is heavily hands-on and prides itself for its relationship with employers.
