Independent Project Knitting/Crochet and Crochet Beginner

A beginner-friendly small group class for all levels supporting Independent project work on the pattern of your choice. Learn from the beginning or tackle the next big skill with expert instruction and guidance to get you off on the right foot and work through challenging patterns. 

Your instructor will be working on a granny square market bag. This bag is customizable in terms of size and color, and covers a variety of skills. If you'd like to make along please be confident in basic crochet stitches and also bring the following:

Materials:

• Worsted OR Aran weight yarn
• in 1 or more colors
• Cotton and plant fiber blends work best for this project
• Size H (5mm) crochet hook
• Locking stitch markers
• Scissors
• Darning needle

Beginner crochet-friendly, please have prior knitting experience.

Requirements:

Your own copy of a pattern available through Ravelry.com or elsewhere. Yarn, knitting needles, yarn needle, any notions required.

Yarn for classes receives a 15% discount when purchased from the shop.

• Please stay home if you are sick in any way. We’ll try to get you caught up by the next class. 

• *At the discretion of the instructor, classes may be mask optional as long as all participants are vaccinated and boosted, AND, as long as ALL participants agree anonymously to meet with masks optional. An email of inquiry will be sent once class lists are finalized.
