Indian Cooking Class is offered by GJS Kitchen and Catering for al l ages and skill level. Chef Gurjyote Singh Sethi (GJ to his friends) is an accomplished Red Seal Certified chef, who has an extensive and vast experience in Indian and western cuisine.
Taking over the legacy from his grandmother in the cooking of various cuisines, he has built a name in the ever-emerging hospitality industry. Belonging to a hardcore Punjabi family, where food is given the preference of a Maharaja [king], the innovative dishes created by GJ carries the flavor of seven seas from India.
Growing up in India, Gurjyote (GJ) was fascinated by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and his grandmother’s cooking. Gurjyote always dreamed of combining that entrepreneurial spirit with great food from around the world.
With vibrant Indian spices and flavours running through his veins, by grade 9, he was determined to one day be a certified chef. His culinary journey started in 1999.
