Our talented chefs prepare outstanding menus using fresh, local, ingredients; pairing each course with the perfect wines (or a healthy smoothie for the kids!); and teach you the skills to duplicate the same experience at home.
The Chef Upstairs features an intimate dining experience with amazing chefs & spectacular food. Whether it's a cooking class or special event, you'll find our chefs' passion for food and fun makes every occasion memorable.
Imagine being part of an intimate event at a private dining venue, surrounded by great friends, family or colleagues. Your group assists a fabulous chef in preparing an outstanding menu that is paired with wonderful wines. At the end of your event, you will have the skill, tricks and confidence to duplicate the same experience at home!
Each course consists of four classes and includes preparation and tasting of bread, dessert, snacks and other delicious vegetarian dishes.
We’ll be preparing some of the most popular and delicious Indian dishes that you’re likely already familiar with and giving them a healthy tweak, without compromising flavour!
Committed to the pursuit of authentic Indian home cooking for more than 20 years, I love to cook, eat, and teach Indian cuisine. My Indian cooking classes reflect both my passion for authentic Indian flavours and my love of fresh, straightforward food.
Indian cooking classes are offered by GJS Kitchen and Catering. Chef Gurjyote Singh Sethi (GJ to his friends) is an accomplished Red Seal Certified chef, who has an extensive and vast experience in Indian and western cuisine.
