Intensive Pattern Cutting Course

This course will enable students to make traditional wearable garments. Come along to join our creative sewing class to enhance your sewing skills. During this course you will learn many new sewing techniques and methods in drafting sewing patterns for wearable garments.

I believe that knitting can be fun and relaxing and my workshops are informal in style with lots of laughter and conversation. My teaching style is based on encouragement. I firmly believe that everyone can be creative in some way and I enjoy helping people discover this.

This is a five hour one to one lesson during which you will realise your own unique, personalised leather clutch bag and get to take it home with you. This is a one to one course during which you will be taught the basic skills of working with leather and learn how to use specific tools.

You will design and create your piece of hand-embroidered art. Ruth will bring images and examples of her work for you to use as inspiration and guide you through the process of creating your unique embroidery.

Hand embroidery is the perfect hobby for those who are not too sure about sewing and want to give something creative a shot! Also amazing for accomplished sew-ers and quilters who want to spice up their existing projects with a little bit of surface decoration!
