Learners have the option to complete their National South African NQF Level 4 Hairdressing Qualification (QCTO 102497), as well as an International Hairdressing Qualification which is registered on the UK & European Qualification Framework.
In addition, Blush Academy is a registered Trade Test Centre, which means that learners can complete their Hairdressing journey with us. We regularly have guest lectures with some of the top industry leaders to make sure that learners get valuable exposure to the hairdressing industry and all it has to offer.

National Qualification:
The National Qualification will take an additional 2 years to complete. During year one at college learners will complete the knowledge and practical modules after which they need to work for 2 years (full-time) in a registered hair salon to complete the required work hours as stipulated by the Department of Higher Education.
At the end of year 3, after successful completion of the Trade Test, the learner will receive a QCTO - Occupational Certificate in Hairdressing NQF Level 4. This ‘red seal trade test certificate’ is the only recognized Hairdressing Qualification in South Africa.
