After 18 long months of stepping away from the Cookshop kitchen, we are ready to welcome you again for in-person classes and events! Classes have resumed, and we’ve got a fun line up of old favorites and new topics to explore.
We assure you: mastering the yeast-risen dough for pizza and calzones is just the beginning. But then, pizza has always been considered a gateway food.
Learn how to make simple homemade pizza that will look and taste just like an artisanal delivery! Making homemade pizza dough can make the difference in making a good pizza and a great one! Cast iron skillets can make the difference so join us in the kitchen and find out how.
We’ll learn to make both a thin crust and deep-dish pizza crust, craft sauces, and prepare toppings for this ubiquitous food as well as its culinary cousin, calzone. We’ll then spend the rest of the class making our own pizzas and calzones and eating them!
Some call pizza the perfect food but how do you make the perfect food, well, perfect? We’ll make and work with a quick dough and make simple but delicious toppings to create wonderful pizza at home.
Learn to use your own garden fresh herbs and veggies to make your own pizza dough from scratch, then add your toppings, and fire it up on our outdoor pizza oven.
