Intro to woodwinds Lessons are offered by Community Music Centre
Introduction to Woodwind Instruments Class is a fun way to try out the clarinet, the flute and the saxophone in a group setting. Our 16-week sessions will be divided up into 4 weeks of clarinet, 4 weeks flute, 4 weeks saxophone and 4 weeks your choice and ensemble playing.
After this class, your student will have a clear idea of which woodwind instrument is a perfect fit!

Students involved in the W.O. Smith private lesson program are offered one-on-one instruction once a week with a qualified volunteer teacher
Flute students will learn the fundamentals of music such as pitch, rhythm, intonation, and terminology. Assembly and care of the flute, and maintenance are covered with all beginning students
