In this course, students will be introduced to basic accounting principles and procedures associated with the role of an administrator. Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills necessary in order to:
Understand basic accounting concepts and procedures
Know how to record transactions in T-accounts using the rules of debits and credits
Know how to prepare financial statements
Calculate pay, routine deductions and net-pay for employees
Prepare company payroll summary
Understand the annual responsibilities associated with the T4 tax form
