This course will be based and delivered in specialist digital learning space with Mac computers and the relevant software and licences.
Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard digital imaging tool. Whether you are new to Adobe Photoshop or just needing a refresher, this introductory course will guide you through its key functions and uses such as importing and exporting images, working with layers, colour and paint features.
Please be aware that all of our digital courses that employ the use of computers and Adobe software are delivered on Apple Mac computers.

Each session, students will be introduced to various aspects in relation using Adobe Photoshop. The sessions will explore a combination of practical exercises and demonstrations, which include:

Each week, students’ progress will be monitored and supported by the tutor who will suggest follow up reading, research and practice to undertake each week to support their studies.

Demonstrate an ability to use the key features of the Adobe Photoshop software.

Adobe® Photoshop® CC: Part 1 focuses on some of the basic features of Photoshop so that the student can navigate the environment and use Photoshop tools to work with photographic images.
