A trusted safety advisor, WSN and its legacy organizations have been helping make workplaces safer since 1915.
As part of WSN, Ontario Mine Rescue (OMR) provides training to mine rescue team members throughout the province to continuously improve the skills and knowledge of mine rescue techniques and procedures. Since its creation in 1929, OMR has established a reputation for excellence in emergency response.

Overhead Crane training is 8 hours in duration and is designed for hoist operators. The training material is designed to give operators the necessary knowledge of equipment, safety principles, and operation, along with an understanding of relevant standards, and applicable requirements.
Upon completion of this course, the trainee will be able to successfully: Identify the purpose of the SCBA. Recognize the requirements workers must meet before wearing a SCBA. Recognize the inspection steps that must be completed to ensure operability of the SCBA prior to its use.
Participants will learn how to properly recognize, assess and control hazards associated with hydrogen sulphide (H2S) gas.
