We then move onto applying the skills learned in the classroom, into a practical outdoor setting. This is an opportunity to apply theory learned in the classroom to develop your own ‘tool kit’ of options when out shooting in the field to capture the photos you might envision in your head. You will be able to navigate your settings with more confidence and apply them intentionally to overcome common macro issues such as images being out of focus, too dark or unable to take your image before your subject flies away!
Whether you enjoy taking photos of insects, flowers or other small items, this course will enable you to take batter macro photos by building your familiarity with both your equipment and the unique world that is – Macro Photography
During this hands-on course you will not only learn foundational photographic principles and techniques (exposure triangle, depth of field etc) you will understand ‘how’ and ‘why’ these principles are heightened during the macro photography process.
