This workshop aims to introduce participants to the process of report writing as a subset of business writing.
The discussion portion of the module will address a variety of report formats, including short and long reports as well as formal and informal ones.
This exploration will revolve around three levels: formats of reports, memoranda and formal letters, types, purpose, and contents of reports, and report writing techniques.
Special attention will be paid to structuring ideas and considerations related to objective, context, and audience.
Participants will also be presented with writing samples that illustrate effective organization of ideas in reports.

We will review the elements of planning business communications, preparing messages and reports and building strong writing skills that lead to more impactful messaging.
