Course Details

This course will prepare students for advanced study by setting the foundational elements of supply chain management: supply, operations, and logistics.

Students will be introduced to the impact of supply chain decisions on companies, financial measures, and key performance metrics. Supply chain sourcing decisions, such as make or buy, will be evaluated.

Students will learn the importance of creating and maintaining supplier relationships, single versus multiple suppliers, and supplier rationalization strategies. Key trends in supply chain management will also be identified.
