Course Content:
The course comprises of seven core modules that will be delivered live and virtually over 3 days.
This course has been developed for multinational organisations in all sectors, mindful of international standards or directives and at the same time adaptive to local needs.
It seeks to provide an excellent underpinning knowledge of health and safety, as well as a sound basis for evaluating (and managing) potential hazards and risks.
The syllabus incorporates international, technical and other standards where they exist. In other cases, requirements and practices that represent 'good practice' are followed.
Course aims to Identify and understand the classification of  chemicals/hazardous substances and understand and discharge their responsibilities  under relevant legislation on chemicals/hazardous substances.
The Workplace Safety and Health Sect. 12 (3) stipulates that “It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure that those person at any work have received adequate instruction, information, training and supervision as is necessary unless he has undergone a safety and health training course .
Many accidents that have occurred in the past were due to the lack of LOTO procedures. This course will allow participants to understand the importance of LOTO at workplaces.
The objective of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHS) against ISO 45001:2018, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021 (as applicable).
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles of auditing and the specific requirements of the ISO 45001:2018 standard.
