Freeman Dance was established in Coventry in 1982 by Jill Freeman. Today we are one of the largest dance schools in the Midlands, and on our third generation of Freeman Dancers (teaching grandchildren of former pupils!)
We offer first class all round dance training from beginners to professional level, preparing students for a future in dance should they choose it.
Since 1982, Freeman Dance have actively encouraged boys into dance. In 2017 we staged ‘Dare to Dance’ and we firmly stand by it’s message that dancing is not “just for girls”. Our FD Boys prove this by being some of the strongest, most talented, all round dancers in the city.
We offer traditional Irish dance classes for children (3+) from beginners through to World Champions.
Irish (10 Year and up) classes are offered by Dancewise Studios. Dancewise will help you achieve your goals – whether you want to build confidence, improve your body shape, make friends with like-minded people or aim for the stars in one of our elite performance teams!
Irish dance classes are offered by SR Dance Academy. We provide dance classes to children and adults. We offer a safe haven for students to meet new friends, express themselves through dance and overall build self esteem.
Beginners from age 4, then moving up through General, Intermediate and on to Senior level in both soft and hard shoe, also group work (ceili). Many chances to perform and compete
The class was started in February 2016 with the intention of getting more people into Irish dancing, increasing the ceili scene around Belfast, creating a great social connection for people, getting fitter and having fun.
