Freeman Dance was established in Coventry in 1982 by Jill Freeman. Today we are one of the largest dance schools in the Midlands, and on our third generation of Freeman Dancers (teaching grandchildren of former pupils!)
We offer first class all round dance training from beginners to professional level, preparing students for a future in dance should they choose it.
Since 1982, Freeman Dance have actively encouraged boys into dance. In 2017 we staged ‘Dare to Dance’ and we firmly stand by it’s message that dancing is not “just for girls”. Our FD Boys prove this by being some of the strongest, most talented, all round dancers in the city.
Bringing the stage to life, Musical Theatre develops confidence, character, and performance skills.
Focusing on rhythm and musicality. Tap takes influence from Musical Theatre and in more recent years Street Dance.
Disciplined and energetic, Irish is a traditional form of dance with a primary focus on footwork and technique.
Fluid and expressive, Lyrical works to build strength and fluidity of movement inspired by powerful and emotive music.
Developing technique in strength and flexibility, Acro offers core training and control to support all other subjects.
