The Wellington High School Community Education Centre (CEC) is always looking for people with great skills to share their knowledge and experience with others and need talented, empathetic and inspirational tutors to deliver courses for adults and whanau. The following information will tell you more about the processes for setting up courses within our programme and what’s involved in being a tutor at the CEC.
In the beginners Italian A1 language courses you will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Acquire basic language skills in Italian in this course for beginners as well as learn about Italian culture and customs.
An introductory oral Italian language course suitable for absolute beginners. Learn the basics of vocabulary and discover Italian culture and customs as you converse with our native Italian tutor.
You can study the language and culture of Italy, and learn to read, write and speak Italian. In Italian language courses, you can learn to speak, read and write Italian. You can study the language from beginner to advanced levels. You can also study contemporary literature, film, and drama.
Our Introductory Italian 101 course begins with a practical explanation of the Italian language sound system to create a sense of assurance and confidence in learners right from the start. Basic everyday vocabulary and expressions are taught to empower learners to feel encouraged to build.
